Schmutziger Weissburgunder - Weussburgunder 2013
Luka Zeichamann's family own a tiny weissburgunder vineyard in the widely underestimated Mittelburgenland region. Soon after the 2013 harvest with biodynamic winegrower Franz Weninger, Luka launched is first vintage of "Schmutziger."
This wines is aged in used oak for 18 months and bottled with the fine lees - hence the name. Schmutziger which translates as “dirty”.
Unfiltered, wild fermentation. Looks like sake, drinks like pear juice, peach and apricot. Floral and fresh.
