Weingut Werlitsch Legoth 2007
A ‘field blend’ of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from Sytria in Austria. This has a crisp and mineral character closer to Chablis than to your usual Sauvignon Blanc. Extra bottle age really enhances the complexity of this classy white. Grapes harvested on the best-selected days. The soil of these vines is somewhat heavier, due to a higher percentage of clay. This clay brings more robust growth of the vine, which presents itself in a simpler structure of the wine.
Origin: Styria, Austria
Varietal: Muskateller, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Muller Thurgau, Welschriesling
